THE HIGH PONY
Our Friday afternoon round-up of hell yes hair for your weekend inspiration.
This week: According to Greek mythology, the goddess Athena sprang from her father’s head—that would be the lightning-slinging Zeus—fully formed. The myth doesn’t go into detail about her exit strategy, but it seems obvious that she would have emerged from Zeus’ power spot, that perfect node on the top of one’s head where a very high ponytail would go. What we’re saying is, the next time you rock a high ponytail you are essentially wearing a goddess on your dome. Accessorize accordingly.
